All Services are provided on a best-effort basis. Results may vary depending on industry, competition, and external factors beyond our control.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

• At least 18 years old
• Legally capable of entering into contracts
• A business owner, authorized representative, or individual acting on behalf of a business

If you use our Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Misuse this Site or attempt to disrupt its functionality
• Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer content, code, or design
• Use our content for competing services
• Submit false, misleading, or unlawful information

8. Payment Terms

Invoices, fees, and project costs must be paid according to the terms agreed upon in your proposal or service agreement. Late or unpaid invoices may result in:

• A late fee of 5 percent is applied each week to any unpaid balance until the invoice is paid in full.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case by case basis.

Minimum Service Term for Google Maps / GBP SEO

Clients agree to a minimum service period of 3 months when signing up for Google Business Profile Optimization services. During this period work will proceed as outlined in the proposal. After the minimum term, services continue on a month to month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Early termination during the minimum period does not result in a refund of fees paid and future fees remain due until the end of the 3 month period.

Clients agree to a minimum service period of 6 months when signing up for Local SEO services. During this period work will proceed as outlined in the proposal. After the minimum term, services continue on a month to month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Early termination during the minimum period does not result in a refund of fees paid and future fees remain due until the end of the 6 month period.

9. Results Disclaimer

Nordic Compass SEO uses proven local search strategies, data-backed methods, and professional optimization techniques to improve your visibility in local search and Google Maps. While no SEO provider can ethically guarantee specific search positions, traffic outcomes, or revenue results, our focus is on measurable progress, transparency, and realistic goals based on your industry, location, and competitive landscape.

SEO is a long-term, cumulative process influenced by many external factors, including competitor actions, search engine algorithm changes, and your own business involvement (for example, review generation and customer engagement). We commit to working with you to improve opportunities for visibility, calls, and qualified leads, but we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic volumes, or revenue outcomes. By engaging our services, you acknowledge these variables and agree that SEO outcomes may vary over time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

Nordic Compass SEO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for Services within the previous 3 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Nordic Compass SEO from claims arising from:

• your misuse of our Site or Services
• your violation of these Terms
• your infringement of third party rights

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the Site signifies acceptance of any modifications. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes.

15. Service Onboarding & Early Termination

Certain services offered by Nordic Compass SEO include upfront onboarding, research, configuration, and setup work performed within the first 30 days. This work represents a significant portion of the total service value.

If a client cancels services within the first 30 days, the initial payment is considered compensation for onboarding and setup and is non-refundable.

Cancellation requests submitted after the first 30 days will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Nordic Compass SEO reserves the right to limit, delay, or withhold delivery of unfinished work if payment is not received or if services are terminated early.

16. Scope of Work & Fair Use

All services are delivered according to the agreed scope outlined at the start of the engagement. Requests outside the defined scope may require additional fees or a revised agreement.

Nordic Compass SEO reserves the right to refuse excessive or unreasonable requests that fall outside the intended scope of service.
